West Electric Corp. started operations as electrical contractors in the city of Mayagüez in 1969. The company was founded as an electrical contracting firm and has grown steadily experiencing an ample disbursement and volume in projects reaching a value of over 21 million in 2005. The main offices are located on the Western part of the Island, in the city of Mayagüez, with satellite offices in Gurabo and Ponce. This island-wide coverage allows West Electric to provide a better service to its clientele. Each office has its team of locally based staff, integrated by the best professionals available as well as the best field workers, many of whom have worked with the company for over 20 years. This allows quick and efficient employee deployment and mobilization. Our company has also participated in several design-built jobs, where the drawings and the field work are developed simultaneously in order to meet strict specifications and/or to completion of duties in a timely manner.
